Real-Time Water Data on your Phone
I have found many people in Emery County (small rural county in Utah) to be quite creative with their use of technology. That's why I was interested to see that the Emery Water Conservancy District was not only making their sensor-driven data available not only on the internet, but through IVR. So, you can dial a number on your phone, enter a three digit code, and the system will respond with the current water flow for that source in cubic feet per second. I guess that's cool if you're a farmer and need to know what is currently available.
