Enrolled in Degree-Granting Institutions (#2), overall finance subindex (#4). The one category where Utah ended up in the bottom 10? Rate of Nonfederal Pysicians per 100,000 inhabitants (#41).
Utah also ranked #1 in the American Legislative Exchange Council's annual competitiveness evaluation.
