Utah to Pilot first test of new Electronic Health Records

The CMS will begin its third pilot program to test which online personal health records vendors meet the needs of Medicare beneficiaries. The program will begin pilot in Utah and Arizona beginning January 2009. Good opportunity for the State to continue to stay ahead in the area of eHealth. So I added the CMS RSS feed to my reader, but its not very active.

Pioneer, the State's online library has added a great new online service in conjunction with Overdrive.com. Library patrons can check out digital books. This works on iPhones as well. Today's most downloaded book is New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.

I'm still looking for more participation with the Utah Data Group on Swivel.

Florida has a great application for setting appointments with their DMV online.

Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff has started a blog. That is in addition to his Twitter feed. His new website was recently awarded a "Waggie" award as the best overall website at the Conference of Western Attorney Generals.
