A look at some new top ranked country portals

A new study coming out of Switzerland apparently ranks Singapore, Argentina, and Costa Rica as the world's most professional country portals. Take a look:

• Singapore, Singapore Infomap (this one is interesting)
  
• Argentina, Gobierno Electronico, Buenos Aires (this has some very cool stuff)
  
• Costa Rica, Visit Costa Rica
  

Though not a part of the rankings, I really like some of the innovation presented on the Buenos Aires' site. It uses SMS, weblogs, localization services, and multimedia in some interesting ways and really packs a lot of content onto one page.
