Utah Crime Reports

According to Utah Attorney General, Mark Shurtleff, Utah is the first state to offer statewide crime reporting at the neighborhood level by email. The service is provided by and the data is provided by state and local law enforcement. In the view shown above, you can see over 2300 crime incidents from the last 30 days (only the first 500 show up on the map) from data provided by 4 different law enforcement agencies. You will also be able to view sex offender data. Currently, 38 different agencies are participating:
Brigham City, Box Elder County, Clinton, Davis County, Draper, Ephraim, Heber, Holladay, Logan, Midvale, Millard County, Murray, North Park, Park City, Perry, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Richfield, Riverdale, Salt Lake County, Sandy, Santaquin/Genola, Saratoga Springs, Snow College, South Jordan, South Salt Lake City, St. George, Southern Utah University, Summit County, Taylorsville, Tooele, Tooele County, Tremonton, University of Utah, Utah County, Wasatch County, Washington City and Woods Cross
In addition to the map view, the service let's you look at crime analytics by jurisdiction to get an idea of trends, etc. as they occur. I checked and it looked like the data was current up to until yesterday.

Salt Lake City Crime Statistics at shows general trends for the city, but this is cooler.
