I am in the UEN Steering Committee mtg right now listening to a presentation on the next version of the web classroom here in Utah. UEN has selected Wimba Live Classroom. They also looked at Intrafinity and Acrobat Connect among others. State Library is interested in the same tool for Continuing Education. Sounds like an interesting idea.
I think this is the first post from my Blackberry. A little more time consuming, but OK.

I want to suggest you try http://www.showdocument.com - its an alternative tool for acrobat connect that allows document sharing and Free Web meeting in real-time. all the participants in the session see each others' drawing, highlights, etc. It is free and requires no installation.
