Major Upgrade for Utah Courts Website

The Utah judicial branch has upgraded their website. With justices like Michael Wilkins on the Supreme Court, I would expect this organization to be progressive in terms of technology and it is. The new site adds more live and streaming video, as well as additional RSS feeds. Four major online services are featured. I still wish they had chosen to leverage the common utah.gov brand, but as a separate branch, they have chosen to maintain a distinct domain identity. They have also created a unique Google custom search engine which limits searches to strictly courts sites. Overall, the new site is an improvement and a nice addition to overall egov in Utah. One of the things I like is the way Chief Justice Durham addresses potential jurors and the services that guide citizens through this process, allowing them to qualify online.
